6 Sub Grants of 7,500 Euros for Women in the Agri-Food Sector (Spain)
JOVESÓLIDES, as a partner of the project in Spain, publishes a call for applications to provide subgrants to women’s start-ups in the agri-food sector that exist in the territory of the Valencian region.
For more than 2 years, the InnovAgroWoMed project has been promoting research, training and partnership networking actions at local and regional levels with the aim of actively supporting and strengthening women’s employment in the agri-food sector, specifically in the territories targeted by the project’s intervention which are Italy, Spain, Palestine and Tunisia.
InnovAgroWoMed is a project co-funded by the European Union through the ENI CBC MED program.
Women are reinventing the agri-food sector, although their recognition and visibility are not yet up to par. This reality is changing very slowly, and entrepreneurship is a powerful tool for all those who wish to develop professionally in the sector. Along these lines, Jovesólides continues to favor the breaking of the gender gap in the agri-food field and favoring social change, now in the form of scholarships.
The general objective of this call is to support the creation of new companies and innovative business initiatives or to provide support to those recently created (last 12 months from the publication of the grant) with the financial support of the InnovAgroWoMed project.
The specific objective is to grant scholarships to women who reside in the Valencian Community and want to: create, or have created a company in the last 12 months since the scholarship is published, or wish to work autonomously in the agri-food sector with activity in the territory of the autonomous community.
The financial amount available for this call for scholarships is 45,000 euros.
The minimum budget for scholarships is €7,500.
The maximum budget per project is 7,500 euros.
The number of possible scholarships is 6.
May apply for scholarships:
Women who have a company incorporated after July 1, 2021.
Women who have registered as self-employed after July 1, 2021.
Women who have their business plan -not yet established-, who once the scholarship is approved will have until September 30, 2022 to establish it or register as self-employed
