Across Ontario, young people are addressing the trauma of racial inequity in their communities, schools and workplaces. Youth are confronting systemic racism in an effort to remove barriers in the institutions they navigate and the resources they access. Among the challenges imposed by COVID-19, there is emerging evidence that indicates racial disparities in accessing culturally relevant mental health support for communities of Black, Indigenous and People of Colour.

Projects could include:
Events/conversations which are focused on impactful change and dismantling the systems that harm or exclude Black, Indigenous and People of Colour.
Events/conversations that are working to improve awareness and access to culturally responsive mental health support, care and services for youth in Ontario
Murals, art installations and digital storytelling
Capacity-building programs and supports
Knowledge-building series
