The Ryedale District Council is inviting applications for its Small Arts Grant Fund.

Ryedale District Council recognises the value and impact of the arts and culture sector. Following a successful round of grants and some wonderful projects last year they are launching another Arts Grant round for 2022/23.

Key Aims

The aims of the small Art Grants is to support small organisations and freelancers to support and develop:
Community health and wellbeing
Celebration of place
Digital creativity
Climate change awareness
Funding Information

Timescales: Projects must be completed by end of March 2023.
Grants of up to £1000 available, to be awarded on a competitive basis.
What will not fund?

General and ongoing running costs
Building maintenance
Retrospective support for activities that have already started or taken place
Building renovations & capital costs (fixed / venues)
Eligibility Criteria

Artists, freelancers, CICs, arts organisations, arts-related charities based in Ryedale and delivering activity in Ryedale (those outside of Ryedale but who deliver activity in Ryedale will be considered but priority will be given to Ryedale-based organisations/freelancers)
What can you apply for?

The grant can be used to pay for professional fees for freelancers to develop and present activity
The grant can be used to pay for equipment and supplies that support the delivery of activity
Please note: You can only apply once in this round.
