PURPOSE OF POSITION
Contribute to the National and Global Strategy through revitalization of Sponsorship and facilitating implementation/monitoring of program operations including sponsorship.

15Operational planning with focus to the most vulnerable:Develop annual detailed implementation plans, monthly and weekly plansMobilize local partners, CBOs and local government to share and validate the plansSupport community stakeholders to identify and build on existing strengths to promote the vulnerable child and family resilience.Model, encourage and support the inclusion of the most vulnerable children in all community engagement, planning and decision-making processes.Promote and ensure the inclusion of the most vulnerable children in all project or program activities;Develop and execute detailed plan of supporter engagement production in alignment to GC approved plansAP plans timely submitted and excuted
30Quality Implementation focusing on greater resultsUnderstand business path for all key interventions including sponsorshipWork with Technical Officer, local partners, CBOs, government and churches to implement business pathSupport and facilitate, CBOs, local partners and churches’ engagement in sponsorship operations in the AP;Produce and submit quality sponsorship video and photos that show real impact in the lives of children and communities in general;Ensure quality and timely submission of all APRs, Christmas cards and other correspondences as a contribution to Sponsorship revitalizationProjects activities well implemented and monitored;Sponsorship performance is consistently green in all aspects
20Monitoring and ReportingMobilize CBOs, local partners and local government to develop an integrated monitoring planMonitor progress and achievements of plans in the Area ProgramOrganize review, reflection and learning forums for community, local organizations and governmentWork with TPOs to produce AP quality and timely reports (monthly, semi-annual and annual)Keep an updated M&E Database, analyze the data to inform decision makingGather sponsorship data from CBOs, local partners and share with sponsorship business systems Assistant for data processing in the Sponsorship single user interfaceGather data, information, reports from Sponsorship business systems Assistant, share and follow up with CBOs, local partners for appropriate action.Monitor sponsorship performance in line with child sponsorship standards and take appropriate actionsSupport GIK management and reporting for all items distributed in his/her area of responsibilityQuality reports and RCs data are timely submitted;
5Build AP level partnerships, networks and coalitions with civil society organizations and local government institutions for broader impact.Facilitate networking with government institutions and other development partners within the AP in planning and implementation of development programmesParticipate in the identification, and nurture of local partnerships with grassroots civil society organizations, Churches and local administrationBuild and facilitate the capacity and growth of community and CBOs and local partnersWork with strong CBOs and partners on specific local advocacy issuesPartnership strengthened and joint quality implementation lead to broader impact
15Integration of cross cutting themesEnsure adherence at AP of child protection policy, guidelines and protocolsEnsure implementation and integration of cross cutting business paths as appropriate (Faith & Dev, gender, advocacy, peace building and child protection)Ensure data disaggregation by gender and most vulnerable childrenCross cuttings are well integrated in projects implementation
Manage Sponsorship in Emergency Context
Report timely any child/RC incident, security issue according to standards;Work with CESP TPO to ensure RC in fragile communities are regularly monitored and support is timely availed for any emergency affecting their well being;Collaborate with the NO and AP team to put in place strong safeguarding mechanisms for all RCs living in fragile context;Prepare and submit to CESP TPO an interim Sponsorship Situation Report for communities in emergency within the standard time;Provide periodical updates to the CESP TPO until end of Emergency;Ensure NO guidance in regards to Sponsorship Management in the changed context is well understood and applied by all staff and partnersAll RC Case Management and Reporting are handled in alignment to the requirement of Sponsorship in Emergency

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES-Minimum of Bachelor degree in Health Sciences, Agronomy, Community Development Studies, Education or any relevant field.-At least three years’ experience working with communities for development.
-Motorbike driving license is mandatory

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Experience:-Computer literate (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet, etc.)
-Good planning and organizational skills
-Ability to maintain effective working relationships with all levels of staff
-Must be highly reliable and independent.
-Ability to work with minimal supervision.
-Networking and advocacy skills.
-Ability to exhibit exemplary lifestyle as interpreted in specific local cultural context
-Ability to write and speak English Fluently.
-Emotional and spiritual maturity and ability to lead a team of professionals.
-Knowledge of and adherence to the WV Code of Conduct.
-Ability to exhibit exemplary lifestyle as interpreted in specific local cultural context.
