Woodard & Curran Foundation is seeking applications for its Impact Grants Program which will be awarded for an innovative project(s) that applies or advances technology to address water (e.g. water, wastewater, stormwater) issues.

15+ Donors for Saving the Planet: Grants for Environment, Conservation and Wildlife
Woodard & Curran Foundation is a mission-driven organization filled with people motivated by a desire to contribute to a sustainable future. In 2010, the employees of Woodard & Curran, Inc. acted upon that desire, forming the Foundation as 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

Foundation Impact Grants ($100K over 3 years) support projects that promote a clean and sustainable environment, include or rely upon volunteers, demonstrate significant progress on the project defined in the application, and support the public at large (i.e., not a single individual).

20+ Donors standing up for Human Rights and Equality
10+ International Donors seeking to improve Access to Water, Hygiene and Sanitation
20+ Global Donors for Empowering Women and Girls
25+ Donors for the Empowerment of Youth
Woodard & Curran Foundation will award up to two Impact Grants (total funding available is $100,000, whether one or two grants are awarded) to be distributed over three consecutive years: 2020-2023.

Eligibility Criteria

An applicant must:
Be a U.S.-based organization.
Have received 501(c)(3) non-profit designation as of the date of the application and must retain that status throughout the grant term.
Not be a house of worship or affiliated with a religious organization, a political organization, or political action committee.
Not discriminate on the basis of race, creed, national origin, political persuasion, age, disability, gender or sexual orientation.
When partnering with an organization, preference will be given to projects with:
An innovative mindset – tying together new or existing ideas or technologies to successfully bring something new and valuable to the world.
Practical solutions that are feasible to implement within the grant timeline.
A focus on action and outcomes, not pure research.
A commitment to maximizing the impact of their investment – this means the project will have a community-scale (not site-scale) impact.
A sustainable impact on the community – the project is intended to be long-term and easy to maintain.
Utilization of volunteers, including Woodard & Curran, Inc. staff.
Ability to implement in a real-world setting.
A meaningful impact to the community (large or small) where it will be implemented.
