The Illinois Prairie Community Foundation is currently accepting applications for the Women to Women Giving Circle Grants Program.

Cash Grants for NGOs to improve access to justice around the world
Conservation Grants to research and generate local solutions to environmental problems
Foundation Grants of up to € 100,000 to increase people’s resilience to disasters
Innovative grants to address poverty issues by helping communities reduce violence, promote peace and recover from crises
The Women to Women Giving Circle seeks to improve the lives of women and children in Central Illinois and is focusing its grants for 2021 on programs that support resiliency (capacity to recover quickly from difficulties) for children in the communities from birth to third grade and their support networks (families, teachers, caregivers).

In addition, the Women to Women grant requires applicants to collaborate on the grant program with another nonprofit organization.

The Women to Women Giving Circle has a total of $38,712 available to give in grants; historically, multiple grants are awarded and range from $3,000-$10,000;
individual requests should not exceed $10,000.
Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must represent a 501 (c)(3) organization, an organization with a fiscal sponsor that is a 501 (c)(3) organization, a unit of municipal, county, state, or federal government (including public schools), a nonprofit institute of higher learning, or a tax-exempt religious organization or place of worship (programs may not proselytize for a particular religion or cause).
Programs must be available to residents of McLean, DeWitt, Livingston, or Logan Counties; however, programs do not have to serve all four counties. The one exception is Shulman Grants which must be based in McLean County.
Programs must be operated and organized in such a manner that no applicable anti-discrimination laws are violated.
Organizations that have received past grants from Illinois Prairie Community Foundation must be current on all final reports.
The Executive Director, CEO, or Board President of an organization must approve the application.
The Foundation does not fund non-program-related expenses, endowment campaigns, annual fundraising events and expenses, capital improvements or expenditures, conference or continuing education expenses, or scholarships to schools or colleges/universities.
The Foundation gives the greatest consideration to programs that have the potential to be on-going and self-sufficient beyond the time of funding, offer solutions to address the program goal by building on proven practical methods, facilitate cooperation and collaboration among organizations, and offer clear methods of measuring and reporting results with emphasis on objective, quantifiable measurements.
What Is Not Funded

Non-program-related expenses;
Applicants from a single organization (applicants must collaborate with at least one other organization for a common program);
Endowment campaigns;
Annual fundraising events and expenses;
Conference expenses;
Scholarships.
