How can you make a difference?
Under the guidance of the HR Officer, the successful candidate will perform the following functions:
Assess the knowledge and level of interested staff members for the French Language Course.
Conduct face to face classes in French for staff members by various categories (Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced).
Plan different schedules based on the level of staff members (at least three lessons per week).
Interact and liaise with students regularly.
Produce creative work plans to capture the attention of the students.
Ensure students’ full involvement and participation in class.
Terms of Payment and Expectations
UNICEF expects successful Consultant to submit his/her quote for payment, prior to finalization of offer.
Payments will be made monthly for a duration of six months based on submission of correct/properly filled-in invoices.
Please note that UNICEF’s payment period extends up to thirty days.
Early receipt of payment is subject to timely submission of invoices and pending positive performance report by supervisor. The following key deliverables are expected:
Deliverables
Submit daily Attendance Register to the HR Officer.
Assess Students’ knowledge and submit monthly report to the HR Officer on students’ performance.
Conduct test at the end of every two months and submit report to the HR Officer (3 tests).
Conduct one final exam at the end of the contract duration (after six months) and submit report to the HR Officer.
Submit final report and recommendation for each Student.
Prepare and hand-over Certificates to Students who complete the course.
To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…
A University Degree in French, fluency in English is required.
Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in teaching French.
Experience in teaching adults, especially in multi-cultural environment is an advantage.
Language: Fluency in English and French (both written and spoken).
Required Skills/Competencies:
Technical skills in the field of education.
Communication, analytical and training skills.
Ability to organize work and projects.
Ability to work in an international and multicultural environment.
