To provide support to knowledge management related activities for the Program Monitoring Unit (PMU)
How can you make a difference?
The Knowledge Management Assistant will help with the restructuring and strengthening of information management and sharing of the PMU, primarily through the following tasks:
Ensure completeness of PMU’s grants archiving (via the ECM) and support section-specific archiving initiatives when necessary.
Support the donor relations team with regular update of donor relations materials, including the preparation of 2020 donor briefing notes (funding analysis). Assist with updating of proposal and grants management trackers and ensure this is in line with information needed for different analyses.
Update the Ethiopia country office’s profile in Salesforce in collaboration with the Donor Relations Unit.
Support the development of SOPs outlining roles and responsibilities of the management of the different tools, train relevant staff and prepare a roll out plan for the effective uptake of the different tools.
Expected Deliverable
100% of relevant documents for grants for the current country program cycle are up to date on the appropriate shared drive on monthly basis.
Sales force updated to include ECO’s key donors on monthly basis.
Proposal and grants-related trackers are developed and updated.
To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…
Secondary education and a minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience is required.
Professional and or university courses related to the field of work are highly desirable.
Technical Knowledge
Knowledge of Excel essential
Knowledge of Sales is an advantage
Knowledge of UNICEF Programmes and the enterprise content management platform
Previous experience in supporting knowledge engagement , archiving and database development initiative required.
