How can you make a difference?
Under supervision of Senior Finance Assistant, performs a variety of specialized tasks in finance and accounting functions.
Summary of key functions/accountabilities:
Scanning the finance files for the finance and administrative section to provide a digital copy per UNICEF Policy;
Ensuring the scanned files are sequentially filed and digitally archived in the prescribed UNICEF portal as required;
Identifying the files beyond the UNICEF prescribed retention criteria and making recommendation for their destruction;
Provide support to the finance staff in filing of documents, as well as additional finance related office tasks during peak season
To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have:
Completion of secondary education is required with professional/university level courses in Accounting and Finance/Business administration considered as an asset.
A minimum of five years of clerical experience in finance and accounting is required.
Fluency of English and local language of the duty station required.
