METHODOLOGY
The consultant will work under the supervision of the assigned ECM champions. She/he will receive orientation webinars and sessions by the ECM Team before roll-out.
Training materials will also be made available. Although training material will be available in French, Spanish and Arabic, webinar orientations will be delivered in English. The ECM Project has staff in HQ to coordinate content migration and work on the technical part of the roll out.
The consultant is expected to work part time in this project for a number of 12 days each month. This consultancy requires an office-based modality. However, working remotely in some cases and if the type of work allows, can be discussed and agreed upon with the supervisors.
ACTIVITIES, DELIVERABLES AND TIMELINES, PLUS BUDGET PER DELIVERABLE
The recruited consultant in close coordination with the ECM champions is expected to:
Support the roll-out of the document management system and the digital workplace by contributing to proactive planning and implementation of ECM activities in the office, ensuring a smooth transition to the ECM system.
Support communication activities and adoption of the ECM document management system, the digital workplace, and other tools in the office.
Receive training and transfer ECM knowledge to the office staff under the guidance of the ECM team.
Support office staff in the use of ECM-related systems and tools.
The consultant will be paid on a monthly basis (total fees will be divided by 11 months) upon submitting a monthly report reflecting the progress of the project.

QUALIFICATIONS, SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE AND ADDITIONAL COMPETENCIES
University degree preferably in Information Technology, Information Systems, computer science, or related fields
Minimum 5 Years of experience in designing websites and SharePoint platforms.
Knowledge of Information management, Databases, Intranet designs.
Knowledge of SharePoint platform is a prerequisite.
Knowledge of InfoPath application.
Good command of English language.
Previous experience in similar projects with UN.
CONDITIONS OF WORK
All works committed will be office-based with no travel outside Cairo is expected.
