Deadline: February 28, 2018

Applications are now open for the UNFCCC–UNU Early Career Climate Fellowship Programme. Academically outstanding young graduates from developing countries who are in early stages of their career, especially women from least developed countries, are encouraged to apply.

Fellowship Details

Fellowships may last from six months to two years. However, there is no fixed duration of the contracts for UNFCCC-UNU-EHS Career Climate Fellowship Initiative. The duration of each contract will be determined by both the workload that arises within the two organizations and the candidate’s availability. Ideally the candidate should indicate his/her availability in the application.

The mode of employment can vary between part-time and of full-time employment (40hrs/week). This will be subject to negotiations before the commencement of employment. It depends on the workload that arises within the two organizations, as well as the candidate’s availability. Ideally the candidate should indicate his/her availability when applying.
