UNDP accepting Applications from Entrepreneurs of Jizzakh, Kashkadarya and Fergana Regions

A joint initiative of the United Nations Development Program and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan is accepting applications from representatives of small businesses in Jizzakh , Kashkadarya and Fergana regions to participate in the Integrated Business Support Program.
1000 new grants and donors
The program aims to help small businesses improve their competitiveness, improve efficiency and promote their growth through the provision of advisory and financial support.
Trainings and consulting services, as well as personal coaching will be provided by experienced experts from Uzbekistan to solve individual business problems in areas such as strategic planning, marketing, operational and financial management at no cost.

Grant funds up to $ 10,000.
The program consists of three stages and will last 3 months.
Stage I: online trainings will be conducted for the selected companies.
Stage II: the companies will be provided with consulting and personal coaching services.
Stage III: participating companies will be given the opportunity to receive grant funds in the equivalent of up to USD 10 thousand and assistance in planning the implementation of their business ideas / projects.
Requirements
To participate in the program, small businesses that meet the criteria below must fill out an online application form or send a scanned version by email
A small business entity in the form of a legal entity, founded by a resident of Uzbekistan, registered and operating in Jizzakh, Kashkadarya and Fergana regions;
An enterprise operating in the following industries for at least two years;
The number of employees should be from 5 to 50 people;
Have no overdue tax and deduction arrears, as well as overdue loans.
Be able to co-finance at least 20% of the total cost of the business idea / project being implemented.
Participants must also demonstrate a willingness to devote 32 hours of training and one-to-one coaching from September 2020 to December 2020.
