U.S. Mission to Zimbabwe: Seeking Applications for Julia Taft Refugee Fund 2019

The U.S. Embassy Harare/Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration (PRM) of the U.S. Department of State is seeking grant applications for the Julia Taft Refugee Fund 2019 from eligible organizations to meet one-time, low-cost projects to address important gaps in refugee protection and assistance.
PRM’s Julia Taft Refugee Fund is intended to meet gaps in refugee assistance needs that can be supported by projects that are not addressed by the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), other international organizations (IOs), or non-governmental organizations (NGOs) receiving U.S. government funding.

- Youth sports programs
- improving hygiene and sanitation conditions
- income generation for refugees
- vocational education program
Funding Information
- Award Ceiling: $25,000
- Award Floor: $5,000
Eligibility Criteria
Nonprofits that do not have a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education.
