This project would complement existing programs operating in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Project proposals should target select cities within the RS, can include cities outside of the RS but within the country, and be closely coordinated with ongoing similar efforts.

Project Goals

The goal of this project is to improve students’ understanding and trust in the justice system of Bosnia and Herzegovina through an experiential learning process. This experience should help students understand their rights within the justice system, strengthening their confidence from an early age in governing institutions and the rule of law. Empowered by an improved understanding of the justice system, students can take a more active role in civic life and help transform Bosnia and Herzegovina into a modern European democracy.
