The SouthCoast Community Foundation is seeking applications for the SouthCoast Emergency Response Fund – Stabilization Grants Program.

The goal of Stabilization Grants is to provide up to six months of unrestricted general operating support to nonprofit organizations that are recovering from the COVID-19 health crisis and its economic impact. Grants will be awarded to a select group of organizations that can clearly demonstrate financial need due to COVID-19.

Focus Areas

Education: The Foundation hopes to support organizations who are addressing remote learning needs and filling the gaps that have arisen as a result of the pandemic.(i.e. child care, programming for youth during or outside of regular school hours, remote learning opportunities for youth, etc.)
Arts and Culture: Organizations who provide access to the arts and continue to contribute to vibrant arts and culture community despite the impacts of COVID-19. (i.e. museums, cultural groups, visual and performing arts)
Economic Opportunity: Within this realm, the Foundation will support organizations that have, or plan to, revision their programs and operations to serve the changing needs of the community. (Includes basic needs, such as food and shelter, and organizations that provide targeted support to specific disadvantaged community members)
Funding Information

This opportunity will award grants ranging from $2,500 – $25,000 to support up to six months of operations.
Eligibility Criteria

Eligible organizations must have been operating as a 501(c)(3) organization or an established fiscal sponsorship arrangement for at least two years.
Funding will only be provided to organizations located and serving residents in the SouthCoast Community Foundation’s service area.

The SouthCoast Community Foundation awards grants through funds, and Scholarship Funds. Please take a look at their Current Requests for specific grant opportunities.
Thanks to the generosity of their donors, they are able to make grants that support a variety of programs across sectors and in response to pressing community needs.
