ABOUT US

SOLIDARITÉS INTERNATIONAL is a French humanitarian organization which provides aid and assistance to victims of war or natural disaster. For almost 40 years, our organization has worked towards meeting the three basic needs – water, food and shelter – of vulnerable and crisis-affected populations, and has been more specifically committed to fight against waterborne diseases, leading cause of death in the world. SI’s interventions are carried out based on its expertise in the field of access to safe drinking water, sanitation and hygiene promotion, but also in the essential ones of food security and livelihoods. SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL is currently present in about 20 countries where SI staff – a total of 2,000 people comprising expatriates, local staff, HQ employees and some volunteers – implements programs with professionalism and commitment whilst being mindful of respecting other cultures.

Solidarités International is getting software solution to support the different teams in HQ and on the field. One of this solution is LINK, developed by ACF, for the Procurement to Pay (P2P) process. The setup and deployment of this software require support to the teams to drive change management. The trainer will help in the pilote phase and then the deployment on different missions. The trainer will also produce, update the training materials according to feedbacks from the field, context specifics, latest development in training methodologies and discussion with other organization using LINK. The trainer will be part of the project in link with the information system project manager.

ABOUT THE JOB

Under the management of the information system project manager, you will have to support the deployment of LINK on SI missions and be part of the project management.

More precisely, you will be in charge of:

  • Managing the deployment of the solution on the targeted missions
    • Contribute to project management (strategy, management, planning, methodology, communication) and participate to the continued improvement of the deployment methodology
    • Plan and prepare the deployment with all concerned actors, in HQ and on missions
    • Support operational teams in HQ and concerned coordinators on missions in the preparation and the roll-out of the deployment
    • Conduct lessons learnt exercises on each deployment
    • Follow-up the deployment on missions
  • Design and roll-out of training for deployment of chosen solution
    • Analyze the needs of different users to be trained on the tool and define the best training options
    • Design the tools to conduct each training phases
    • Collaborate with operational teams and relevant department on the redesign of the technical training including parts on the selected software
    • Develop and roll-out, if required, a training of trainers
    • Contribute to training of technical staff in HQ
    • Participate in lessons learnt exercises with other organization using the selected software
  • Contribute to the development of the software
    • Participate in the analysis phase of new modules: joining technical workshop, support on needs assessment, user interface design, etc.
    • Participate in the selection process
  • Contribute to the Information System team
    • Participate in the recruitment and training of other trainers
    • Contribute to lessons learnt exercises for potential other deployments

YOUR PROFILE

  • Training and experiences
    • Master’s degree in logistic, supply chain or equivalent
    • Professional experience of 3 years minimum in a logistic position, including at least one year as field logistician with an INGO
    • Knowledge on information system would be an asset
  • Skills and qualities
    • Knowledge on training design, planning and roll-out
    • Knowledge on change management
    • Good organization skills, flexibility and adaptability
    • Good communication skills
    • Project management with several departments, sites (HQ and missions)
    • Curiosity on new training technologies
    • English/French

SI WILL OFFER YOU

  • Duty Station: HQ – Solidarités International, Clichy la Garenne with field trips
  • Short term contract (CDD), 11 months until 31th of december 2021
  • Monthly gross salary : 2 800€ or 3 000€ (2 levels according to our salary grid).
  • 12 days of RTT/year
  • Health cover (80%), “tickets restaurant” (60%), transport tickets (50%) covered by the association
