SOFRECO is looking for a Geological Site Manager (M/F) to supervise an exploration campaign of sedimentary deposits in Egypt.

Tasks :

Management of daily site activities in order to meet the schedule, quality and safety objectives;

Ensure compliance to safety, environmental, quality and statutory requirements;

Monitor equipment on site in order to ensure that the appropriate/required equipment is available to meet the operation needs;

Supervision of subcontractors: drilling, trenching, geophysics, topographic survey, sample preparation

Reporting: daily and weekly;

Budget monitoring and control.

QUALIFICATION

10 – 15 years’ experience of supervision of exploration projects;

BSc in geology or equivalent;

The candidate must have the ability to plan and implement exploration campaigns.
