Lieu : multi-Afrique (Zimbabwe, Guinea, Sierra Leone)

Projet : Conduct a mineral value chain study entitled « The case for jewellery manufacturing and its impact on value addition, job creation and the economic empowerment of women and youth ».

QUALIFICATION

Master’s degree in minerals economics, geology, economics, agriculture, mining or closely related subject. A PhD would be an advantage.

At least ten years of experience in mining management and/or mining economics, with sound experience with women and youth’s economic empowerment initiatives in the mineral value chains, with sound experience gained in African countries or other developing countries.

Proven experience in the collection and analysis of data from mineral based industries and strong knowledge of issues related to processing and value addition alongside the mineral value chains.

Previous work experience in the selected countries (Zimbabwe, Guinea, Sierra Leone) and/or the Region will be an advantage.

Fluent in English.
