The Jrue & Lauren Holiday (JLH) is currently accepting applications for its Social Impact Fund to black-owned businesses and nonprofits. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world.
The focus of the grants will be in the Greater Milwaukee, New Orleans, Indianapolis, and Los Angeles areas with priority given to organizations focused on social impact and creating a more equitable future for underserved communities.

Benefits
For-Profit JLH Social Impact Fund Recipients will receive:
Grant Funding: For-Profit JLH Fund Recipients will receive up to $25,000 in matched grant funding. The total matched award will be based on the total funding raised during the Fund Black Founders supported crowdfunding campaign.
Mentorship & Training: The JLH fund will include 16 weeks of coaching and training to expand funding opportunities as well as hands-on mentorship from The Kinship Advisors and Fund Black Founders executives. For Profit Weekly Training Sessions Projected Start Date: June 15th.
Exposure: Each recipient will receive exposure on JLH social media channels.
Nonprofit JLH Social Impact Fund Recipients will receive:
Grant Funding: Nonprofit JLH Fund Recipients will receive $15,000 in direct unrestrictive grant funding.
Mentorship & Training: The JLH fund will include 8 weeks of coaching and training to expand funding opportunities as well as hands-on mentorship from The Kinship Advisors and Fund Black Founders executives. Sessions will meet twice a week. All nonprofits that apply will receive technology and support services from Microsoft’s Nonprofit Tech Acceleration (NTA) for Black & African American Communities. Nonprofit Weekly Training Sessions Projected Start Date: July 7th.
Exposure: Each recipient will receive exposure on JLH social media channels.
Eligibility Criteria
Funding Application Criteria:
Black-owned small businesses (with a max of 250 employees)
Black-led, tax-exempt nonprofit organizations
Founder(s) must be 21+, identify as Black/African American, and own at least 51% of the total entity.
Priority Cities: Special attention will be paid to applicants from the following cities.
Indianapolis
Los Angeles
Milwaukee
