The Salt Lake County COVID Response & Recovery Team is soliciting applications for the Community Partners Grant Program (“CPGP”). The CPGP is intended to support non-profit and community-based organizations engaged in combatting the impacts of COVID-19 within their particular constituencies.

Salt Lake County recognizes that community organizations provide invaluable expertise and services that cannot be provided by government entities alone. It is imperative that non-profits survive the current economic climate, remaining capable of providing necessary services now and into the future.

Funding Information

Grant amounts will range from $5,000 to $250,000.

Focus Areas

The Community Partners Grant is a COVID-19 relief program for 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(6) nonprofit organizations based in Salt Lake County working in the following four areas:

Housing and Homeless Service
Education and Childcare services
Business Training & Support
Arts and Culture
Salt Lake County will award one-time payments funded through federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (“CARES Act”) funds to organizations that are approved.

Eligibility Criteria

Based in Salt Lake County and directly providing services to Salt Lake County residents
Be a 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(6) for at least 5 years
Be in one of the industries below that has been impacted by COVID-19:
Housing and Homeless Services
Education and Childcare
Business Training & Support
Arts and Culture
In need of support for programming or expenses directly related to the impact of COVID-19.
