Research Investment for Global Health Technology Fund Foundation (RIGHT) Fund is requesting proposals for its Technical Accelerator Award. The purpose of this award is to develop proof-of-concept or additional scientific results that can be used to support a future Product Development Award application.

The RIGHT Fund seeks original and innovative concepts for vaccines, therapeutics, diagnostics, and digital health to alleviate the acquisition, progression, or transmission of infectious diseases emerging and endemic in developing countries. Towards this vision, the RIGHT Fund aims to support research projects that involve collaborations between Korean and international research organizations/companies that have a specific advantage for use in LMICs.

Target diseases: Infectious diseases endemic and emerging in LMICs.
Technology Interventions: Vaccines, Therapeutics, Diagnostics, and Digital Health
Award amount: Up to 500,000,000 Korean won (KRW) per project.
Project duration: The duration of the funding is up to one (1) year.
Mandatory Requirements

Partnerships shall include at least one Korean entity with a capacity of health intervention R&D and the expertise to identify projects that represent substantial additions to the field.
RIGHT Fund focuses on diseases for which there is a Korean company/academic or government research institution with the capability and the development platform to advance/improve existing products and delivery capabilities in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs).

Eligibility Criteria

The RIGHT Fund reserves the right to determine eligibility of applicants and public health priority among proposals at its discretion.
Eligible entities include academic institutions, public and private research organizations, non-profit organizations, for-profit companies, or other recognized institution capable of supporting the proposed activities and administering grants and are legally established in accordance to the law of their countries. Please note that both principal applicant (principal investigator) and co-applicant(s) are legal entities subject to above conditions.
