Researcher Links Challenge Grants UK-Germany Public Health Workshops

Deadline: 28-Jan-22

The British Council invites proposals for workshop events to be organised between UK and German academic principal investigators, with a focus on policy, impact and public health.

This call is part of the British Council’s Going Global Partnerships programme, which supports partnerships between universities, colleges, education policymakers, civil society organisations and industry partners in the UK and around the world.

These are aimed at creating interdisciplinary dialogues and mentoring opportunities for early career researchers, along with the opportunity for a challenge prize to generate relevant outputs. Outputs could include events, policy briefs, papers or commentary pieces, digital media or training resources.

As the Covid-19 pandemic has reminded us, medical and public health advice takes into account scientific information and evidence alongside cultural and social factors. As the world slowly emerges from the Covid-19 crisis, they need to learn the lessons of public health at the individual, institutional, and national and international levels.
