Job DescriptionLogistics and Procurement Officer
Location: Kwekwe Program Area
Reporting to the Administration & Procurement Coordinator, the job holder is responsible for providing administrative and procurement support services to the Kwekwe Program Area.
Accountabilities:Support the Administration & Procurement Coordinator (APC) to manage relationships and processes relating to partners and stakeholders
Implements office risk action plansAnalyse and consolidate office requisitionsLiaise with suppliers and recommend an updated suppliers’ list half annually to the APCComply with Plan policy and procedure on procurement, storage, inventory, distribution and receipt of all purchases madeInitiate and review relevance of the purchase tracking and procurement processes for effective feedback and monitor procurementCarry out regular field visits to verify delivery and usage of project material according to purchases specifications and implementation planPrepare procurement reports on timeEnsure all vehicles and motorbikes are registered, insured and licensed according to local regulatory legislationMaintain an accurate and up to date motorbike and vehicle recordsPay all office rental and related costs in time. Ensure that Plan offices and premises are adequately manned and secured according to Plan’s policyCarryout physical verification at least bi annually and submit updated asset registersPromotes and abides by Plan policies and procedures including but not limited to: Gender equality mainstreaming, Safeguarding Children and Young People; Code of Conduct and the related mandatory reporting responsibilities.
Knowledge:Purchasing and Supply Management, Business Administration Degree or equivalent qualification
A minimum of 5 ‘O’ Level passes including English Language and Mathematics3   years relevant working experience at a similar levelAbility to interpret and work in accordance with laid down procedures
Skills & BehaviorsHigh level of integrity and innovative skills
Excellent communication and facilitation skillsExcellent computer literacy skills particularly in Ms Word, Excel, Access and PowerPointExcellent interpersonal skillsGood report writing skillsAbility to work within a team Interested candidates who meet the above requirements are required to submit their curriculum vitae & cover letter outlining their suitability for the position.
