PURPOSEGrants Compliance Coordinator (GCC) will ensure the Compliance of projects in line with donor and Plan International Egypt’s compliance guidelines. The GCC will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the grant compliance for Plan Egypt grant portfolio from the grant approval stage till the closure of the project/grant. The GCC will maintain the master data in SAP for both grants and Sponsorship funded projects to be accurate and updated to capture the latest agreement with national offices. GCC will be responsible for income monitoring to ensure that Plan Egypt received all the committed funds as per the agreement with the national offices. GCC will review and validate that the partnership agreements for grants funded project to reflect all the donor requirements and compliance aspects. The GCC will also promote a culture of grant compliance in Plan Egypt and be responsible for training Plan staff and Project partners on grant compliance and grant management. The GCC will be responsible for developing a FY /yearly calendar of projects reports to National Offices, donors and ensure agreed compliance deadlines are met. Also, GCC will review the project reports to ensure the consistency and compliance to donor requirements.

GCC will report directly to Program Quality and Partnership Manager and work closely with the Project Coordinators/ Managers in the implementation function. In addition, the GCC will collaborate with Finance, Monitoring and Evaluation, Business Development, Program Advisors, Program Unit Managers and other field staff.
AccountabilitiesGCC will contribute to the successful management of Plan Egypt’s Grants Portfolio by offering timely and appropriate support to respective grants projects such that high standards of compliance are maintained

To coordinate with other departments and staff to ensure compliance aspects are well monitored in all projects whether grants and sponsorship funded projects, (including compliance with implementation timeframes, and implementation requirements such as procurement conditions, expenditure eligibility conditions, reporting requirements, budget amendments, cost or no cost extensions, and so on)
The GCC will be responsible for setting up the Grant master data for FAD and SPAD creation purposes in the SAP grant module and ensure the SAP data is updated and accurate for both the approved fund and for project pending on donor approval.
GCC will ensure providing orientation to the project implementation team on donor regulations
GCC will be responsible to upload the income received locally and maintain it in the system
GCC will track the income registration for grant income and circulate monthly report with the updated income to ensure that Plan Egypt receives the total income as per the signed funding agreement 
Ensure that the electronic Plan Egypt confirmed fund share-point system is updated along with all supporting documents and submitted reports are updated on regular basis to ensure the accessibility and sharing of information among all Plan staff.
GCC will be responsible for the review of the partner agreement packages for grants funded projects.
The GCC will participate in the Preparation Phase of the grants and be involved in the implementation of the Kick Off workshops at CO and Start up workshops with the participation of the project team and partners to ensure those workshops cover all compliance requirements.
The GCC will be responsible to train Plan Egypt staff as well as project coordinators based at PAs and PUs on grant compliance and grants management.
The GCC will be responsible for developing and updating a database of the grant compliance requirements for Plan Egypt portfolio, as well as developing and circulating a yearly reports submission calendar for the grants under implementation.
GCC will ensure that donor/NO periodical reports are reviewed in accordance to the donor guidelines, using the reporting template and ensure that reports are with quality.
The GCC will support the PQP Manager to promote a culture of high effectiveness and efficiency of Grants management within Plan different units.
Ensures that Plan International’s global policies for Child Protection (CPP) and Gender Equality and Inclusion (GEI) are fully embedded in accordance with the principles and requirements of the policy including relevant Implementation Standards and Guidelines as applicable to their area of responsibility. This includes, but is not limited to, ensuring staff and associates are aware of and understand their responsibilities under these policies and Plan International’s Code of Conduct (CoC), their relevance to their area of work, and that concerns are reported and managed in accordance with the appropriate procedures.
Technical expertise, skills and knowledge5 years of experience in coordinating grant compliance preferably for in INGO environment.

Knowledge of grant compliance mechanisms in development.
Excellent command of spoken and written English
Excellent command on spoken and written Arabic and ability to develop compliance and grant management training packages.
Training and facilitation skillsProven track record in keeping a project reporting calendar and ensuring the reporting packages are aligned with the donor requirements and with ensuring its quality.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish good working relationships with NOs, project coordinators, managers and other Plan colleagues
Excellent oral communication skills.
Ability to work in teams and interact with different audiences.
Proven computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft software including MS Word processing, Power point presentation, Excel spreadsheets
Report writing skills
Proven analytical skills in result-oriented task prioritization and problem solving
