Network Funding Programme inviting Professional Artists and Cultural Workers

The Nordic Culture Point has announced a call for proposals for its Network Funding programme.

10+ Funders for Agriculture, Food and Nutrition
10+ Global Donors for Improving Lives of Children in Poor Countries
10+ Donors that believe in building NGO capacities for Civil Society Development
15+ Donors for Saving the Planet: Grants for Environment, Conservation and Wildlife
Network funding enables periods for cooperation, exchange of ideas and knowledge between professional artists and cultural workers in the Nordic region and/or the Baltic countries. Network co-operation entails, for example:

series of joint meetings, conferences, workshops, staff exchanges and joint courses
activities such as pooling resources and skills in order to develop initiatives that influence public opinion or to work together on scheduling and structuring tours
the establishment of a platform that can lead into larger international projects later on.
Funding Information

Short-term funding: For networks which will work together for up to 1 year, it is possible to receive funding of up to EUR 20,000 but the grant from Nordic Culture Point may comprise maximum 70% of the total budget.
Long-term funding: For networks which will work together for up to 3 years, it is possible to receive funding of up to EUR 100,000 but the grant from Nordic Culture Point may comprise maximum 50% of the total costs.
Eligibility Criteria

20+ Donors standing up for Human Rights and Equality
10+ International Donors seeking to improve Access to Water, Hygiene and Sanitation
20+ Global Donors for Empowering Women and Girls
25+ Donors for the Empowerment of Youth
Only professional artists and other professionals in the field (such as curators, producers, translators, cultural editors or researchers) within all culture and art forms can apply for funding.
Applicants can apply for funding as an individual, group, organisation or institution.
“Professional” means that applicants have documented experience of work within the field of art and culture and/or have studied art or culture.
In order to apply for network funding, the applicant(s) should reside in the Nordic region (Denmark, Finland, the Faroe Islands, Greenland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden and the Åland Islands) or Baltic countries (Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania) but it is not necessary for applicants to have Nordic or Baltic nationality.
The network should comprise partners from:
at least three Nordic and/or Baltic countries (Denmark, Estonia, Finland, the Faroe Islands, Greenland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Sweden and the Åland Islands).
The network may comprise additional partners who do not operate in the Nordic region or Baltic countries.
