APM Terminals, Inland Services in South Africa is responsible for empty and full container storage, handling and container repair as well as a trucking operation. This position is within the scope of the Trucking operation.
The Trucking operation primary activity is to transport international import and export containers. The operation predominantly provides a service to the shipping lines as well as clearing agents, transporters and cargo owners.
This position is operational and based at the trucking operation in the East London depot. Overtime and weekend work may be required for this position.

Key responsibilities-To ensure that all orders are actioned by completing and print CTO documents., i.e. Container operator, vessel, w/order number, reference numbers, APMT Trucking, complete address and empty turn-in.-To ensure that all POD documents are filed in APMT Trucking number order.-To ensure that the filing is always neat and easy to find.-To ensure that trip sheets are checked and filed daily.-To ensure that any special instruction regarding the delivery of containers are communicated to the controllers.-Monitor weekly invoices and ensure that invoices are correct with supporting documents when submitting reconciliations to Head Office.-Keep record of all orders, invoices, statements and reconciliations.-Ensure that all invoice queries receive prompt attention.
