APM Terminals IS Cape Town is looking for an Operations Administrator (Gate) to ensure a smooth flow of trucks entering and exiting the depot and to inspect all containers according to the customer’s requirements. The role is based at the container depot in Killarney Gardens, the largest Reefer facility in the country.

Key responsibilities
In gate (estimation assistance)– Move and place ladder/platform for access to containers- Collect documents from driver- Check and verify container number against documentation- Place stickers on containers as instructed by estimatorOut gate- Collect documents from driver- Check cleanliness date (reefer)- Set temperature according to CTO/Release (reefer)- Check PTI sticker valid and within date (reefer)- Remove unnecessary/unwanted stickers (GP/Reefer)- Check inside containers for cleanliness- General housekeepingHSSE- Comply with all HSSE requirements and processes
