The Ocean Customer Logistics team is hiring a Equipment Flow Manager to ensure optimal equipment utilization, reliable and efficient service to our customers at the lowest possible cost.

Key responsibilities• Optimizes overall utilisation of available capacity to ship for empty equipment.• Executes the empty flow plan through intense coordination with MVS and Feeder employees.• Delivers Dry/Reefer Standard Evacuation Plan and empty allocation per service low Optimisation• Drives simplification of the Equipment Flow Process• Delivers Dry/Reefer Standard Evacuation Plan and empty allocation per service Flow Optimisation• Reduces waste such as longstanding containers and renominations• Responsible for vessel operation contingency plans, calculating incremental costs and making stakeholders aware of these for each scenario• Identifies and suggest continuous improvement possibilities in the ways of working• Identifies and executes cost reductions through the SmartOPS process within the team• Ensures EQU positioning is executed basis cost benefit analysis with the assistance of FBP team.• Manage and develop relationships with relevant internal external stakeholders within geographical scope through the fostering of close interaction.• Initiates and drives E2E equipment related cost saving initiatives, including but not limited to equipment storage, flow execution and upgrades within area of responsibility.• Own and drive all projects pertaining to equipment within AFROCL scope.
We are looking for• Minimum of 5 years experience within Ocean customer logistics or relevant industry within a supply and demand role.• Experience in liner operations, capacity, commercial or yield management.• General understanding of Maersk global and local systems is a plus.• Excellent numerical and problem-solving skills.• Leadership experience preferred.• Strong process-oriented approach to work and excellent attention to detail.• Resilient team player who is goal-orientated and demonstrates a high level of commitment with the ability to work under minimal supervision.• Excellent Written and Verbal skills with people at all levels across the organisation in English.POSTULER
