The Australian High Commission in Kiribati is seeking applications for its 2019-20 Direct Aid Program (DAP), which is a flexible small grants program (up to $20,000 per grant) administered by the Australian High Commission. It aims to support small-scale sustainable development projects and activities that involve local communities. Criteria

  • I-Kiribati local community and non-government organisations (NGOs) are eligible to apply
  • DAP applications are assessed according to the following criteria:
    • Strength of the proposal in addressing one or more of the priorities listed above
    • Degree of benefit to the community
    • Capacity of the community or NGO to deliver the project on time and on budget
    • Sustainability of the project

Ineligible Projects

Projects that involve the following are not eligible:
