The Community Foundation of Henderson County is seeking applications for the Fletcher Community Grants to provide cultural, educational, historic and civic enrichment for the community of Fletcher, located in Henderson County North Carolina.

Grants are recommended by an advisory committee of Fletcher residents. Grants are generally considered for specific projects and not ongoing organizational support.

The Fletcher Community Fund encourages proposals that:

Demonstrate collaboration
Affect a broad segment of the populations
Are relevant to overall community needs and available resources
Have reasonable prospects for future support
The Foundation will not Fund

The Fletcher Community Fund grants will not be used for:

grants to individuals
organizations which have not been determined to be tax-exempt of the Internal Revenue Code
augmenting of endowments
Criteria

In the online grants portal you will need to upload the following documentation:

A detailed project budget
Organization’s 501(c)(3) determination letter or equivalent
Organization’s most recent audited financial statement, if the organization is of a size that an audit is not required, send a copy of an outside bookkeepers review
Organizations most recent financial statement as presented to your Board of Directors
Most recent operating budget
Organization’s current list of Board of Directors
Organization’s annual report or other publication describing your organization and the services you provide
