key responsibilities

organizational:
– communicate with colleagues and share insights on slack
– utilise trello to update task status
– weekly coordination and training with direct report

reporting:

– report on impact of referral traffic
– update buzzstream and pr documentation
– update email masters as required
– analyse kpis performance of email initiatives and optimise over time
– monthly completion of email marketing actuals vs targets in forecasts

functional:

– network to build close connections with media outlets, press, blogs, influencers and relevant institutions
– devise interesting and captivating pr opportunities to drive conversions from our target personas
– ensure brand communications and partnerships are aligned with brand strategy and produce impact on core kpis for referral traffic
– effectively execute media buying activities with allocated budget
– build internal relationships with marketing team, in-house sales team, business partnerships manager and other key stakeholders
– liaising with, and answering enquiries from media, individuals and other organisations, often via telephone and email
– researching, writing and distributing press releases and guest blog posts in various formats to targeted media
– collating and analysing media coverage
– writing and editing case studies, speeches, articles and annual reports
– devising and coordinating photo opportunities with press
– organising events including press conferences, exhibitions, open days and press tours
– sourcing and managing speaking and sponsorship opportunities
– conducting or commissioning market research
– create and schedule email campaigns
– suggest and execute (including coding) weekly a/b tests
– coordinate with design and content teams for visual assets and content
– analyse performance of transactional emails to communicate both issues and ideas
– communicate on any significant changes to email metrics
– manage email ad placements
– monthly check that transactional email are triggered as per logic
