Our client is a bio-medical laboratory based in Dakar – Senegal and specialised in Viruses Research and Development. He is looking for Bio-Security Officers.

Missions :

1. For each virus (Avian Influenza, Anthrax, Ebola, Swine Fever), understand and write in English and then in French, the procedures for using the following items:

– Facility management and operations- Laboratory diagnostics- Sampling receipt, handling, packaging and transport- Reporting and communications, including sample referral- Reagent procurement and storage

– Inventory management

– Laboratory equipment maintenance

– Sample storage and disposal

– Safety equipment, including personal protective equipment

– Bio-Risk Management

2. Once these procedures are written in both languages and validated by the Project Manager, you will be in charge of:

– create training modules on each procedure drawn up- evaluate their understanding of the various procedures

– train the employees of the bio-medical laboratory

Profile :

– Background/qualification: Master and/or PhD in Biology

– Bilingual French and English

– International experience is a plus

– Nationality: Senegalese (possible expatriate)

– Position in Dakar
