CSR Europe is currently seeking interns to join its Services, EU, Communications and Membership Teams in Brussels for a period of six months starting October 2, 2017. CSR Europe is Europe’s leading business network for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), based in Brussels.

They currently have vacancies in the following teams:

  1. Services Team
  2. Membership and Stakeholder Relations Team
  3. EU Relations Team
  4. Communications Team

Please note that interns at CSR Europe are paid a monthly stipend of 766 Euros.

Eligibility

Services Team

  • Fluency in English is essential (other languages desirable)
  • Good understanding of business, the business environment and CSR issues
  • Good research skills: ability to find relevant information and summarise the essence
  • Good analytical skills: ability to work with data on benchmarks and company assessments
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written) : ability to provide both information in a timely, clear and concise manner; and to expresses ideas effectively, adjusting style, tools and mode to the needs of others
  • Demonstrable experience with MS Office suite esp. strong skills with MS Excel required
  • Capacity to rapidly respond to a variety of diverse tasks
  • The applicant must be either a recent graduate or a student who is required to complete an internship in order to finish their studies
  • The candidate must be available to work for a period of 6 months
  • The candidate must have the legal authorisation to work in Belgium

Membership and Stakeholder Relations Team

  • Fluency in English is essential (other languages desirable)
  • Good understanding of business, the business environment and CSR issues
  • Good research skills: ability to find relevant information and summarise the essence
  • Good analytical skills: ability to work with data on benchmarks and company assessments

EU Relations Team

  • Good understanding of the EU institutions and the business environment, interest in CSR issues
  • Good communication skills (oral and written) – ability to communicate formally and professionally
  • Strong experience with MS Office suite, e.g. PowerPoint
  • Ability to deal with multi-disciplinary tasks and capacity to respond rapidly to a variety of diverse tasks
  • The applicant must be either a recent graduate or a student who is required to complete an internship in order to finish their studies
  • The candidate must be available to work for a period of 6 months
  • The candidate must have the legal authorisation to work in Belgium (EU citizen)
  • Excellent verbal and written English is required

Communications Team

  • Fluency in English, good communication skills (oral and written) – ability to communicate formally and professionally
  • Enthusiasm for and understanding of corporate communications and an interest in CSR/sustainability
  • Resourceful with an appreciation for design and interest in creative communications
  • Interest in developing online communication through e.g. social media
  • Good time management skills with the ability to multi-task and respond rapidly to a number of simultaneous requests
  • Strong experience with MS Office (Word, Power Point, Excel)
  • Experience with Adobe software (InDesign, PhotoShop etc. is a plus)
  • The candidate must be available to work for a period of 6 months stating in October, 2017.
  • The candidate must have the legal authorisation to work in Belgium (EU citizen)
