Colorado Springs Health Foundation is seeking applications for the COVID-19 Technology Mini-Grant Program.

Organizations have had to make myriad changes due to COVID-19, and for many, it has created some technology challenges. This mini-grant is designed to help organizations address their COVID-19-related technology needs.

Organizations may request no more than $5,000 to support hardware (laptops, web cameras, microphones, headsets, printers), software, memberships (e.g. Zoom), moving from a server to cloud, and/or other technology-related expenses.

Funding Focus Areas

Colorado Springs Health Foundation has identified five funding focus areas.

Expand access to healthcare for those in greatest need. This includes care for physical, mental, oral and/or substance use disorder-related concerns.
Address the healthcare workforce shortage
Prevent suicide
Cultivate healthy environments in high-need or underserved communities. Healthy environments are those that encourage greater physical activity or those that increase access to healthy, affordable food.
Prevent or heal trauma; Strengthen resilience
Eligibility Criteria

Applicant organizations must be one of the following:
Tax-exempt (501(c)3)
Operating under the fiscal agency of a tax-exempt organization
Tax-supported like a school or local/state government
Applicant organizations must serve either El Paso and/or Teller Counties, Colorado.
In general, Colorado Springs Health Foundation will consider all types of grant requests (general operating, program, capital, capacity-building/technical assistance, etc.).
Grant size (amount approved) varies significantly.
Colorado Springs Health Foundation prefers not to provide sole, majority and/or continuous funding for a request.
Colorado Springs Health Foundation does not support:
