Gauteng, South AfricaReference Number: 138-0305LH Job Description:Our client is in need of a Treasury Accountant with a strong background in foreign exchange transactions, VAT and tax returns to join their team in Gauteng. Responsibilities:Managing all foreign exchange transactions and import and export logistics.Ensuring cash flow is in line with operational needs.Reconciling and positing bank statements and balance sheets for both local and foreign creditors and entities.Preparing and submitting VAT and withholding tax returns.Continuous improvement initiatives for systems and processes.Short and medium term planning.Monthly reconciliations.Liaising with foreign and local banks. Requirements: Qualification and SkillBCom Financial / Accounting degree.SAIPA / SAICA registration preferred.10 years previous experience as a Treasury Accountant in heavy equipment, construction, mining or similar industries.Valid driver’s license.Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills. Benefits and Contractual information:Permanent contract.
