Johannesburg, South AfricaReference Number: 56546 VG Job Description: Our client is currently seeking a Sourcing & Contracting Specialist (Mine Services) that would report to the Lead.This position will be responsible for the management of selected contracts, including supplier performance reviews, validation and expedition of contract deliverables, rate reviews, rectification of under-performance, process compliance, and associated activities. Requirements: Qualification and Skill Supply qualification (B degree or related qualification in Finance or Supply Chain) or equivalent 10 years’ experience in core MiningA Supply chain background with experience in sourcing and contracting or Contract Mining Owner Mining experienceA minimum of 10 years’ experience in in sourcing and contracting and/or direct mining activities within mining or similar heavy industriesUnderstands the importance of stakeholder relationships and can engage effectively with engineers, legal, quality management and project engineers to co-ordinate and ensure contractual delivery parameters are metThe ability to develop or contribute toward sourcing strategies in mining activities Benefits and Contractual information:Permanent Contract
