6-Month Contract
Responsibilities:
  Identify the key business activities carried out in each function/office location;
Rank the activities based on business priorities and time criticality;
Identify the resources required for business continuity and recovery;
Carry out a threat evaluation to estimate likelihood and potential impact on specific activities from known threats;
Support all Head of Departments/Units and RCOO’s to develop functional Business Continuity Plans and embed BCM in their operations;
Analyze and aggregate all departmental/unit Business Impact Assessments (BIA) and Business Continuity Plans (BCP’s) into the Bank-wide BIA and BCP;
Determine the recovery timescales (Recovery Time Objectives) and disruption tolerance levels at functional and corporate level;
Aggregate and prioritize global resource requirements to support Bank-wide continuity and recovery;
Update the BCM Policies and Procedures (BCM Compendium) based on the outcomes of the above;
Plan and carry out tests for the functional and corporate BCP’s;
Carry out awareness and training sessions at functional and corporate level;
Assist embed BCM in the Bank;
Automate the department/unit plans and the Bank-wide BCM Plans;
Assist the new Manager, establish the BCM function in the Bank;
To provide support as may be required to the new Admin Manager in implementing the Bank’s BCM activities;
Carry out any other strategic BCM duties as may be assigned by Senior Management
Requirements: Qualification and Skill
  A relevant Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University, a Master’s degree in a relevant field or a recognized professional qualification in lieu;
Minimum of 8 years’ experience as a BCM specialist in an international bank or large financial corporate institution and BCM Certification;
Ability to communicate and function in a culturally diverse and change oriented setting;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Knowledge of the Bank’s other working languages is an added advantage
Willingness to travel and to work long hours where required to achieve the Bank’s objectives;
Membership of Professional Societies e.g. Business Continuity Institute (MBCI);
Development and implementation of BCM policies and related documentation;
Business Continuity Planning;
Resilience Strategy formulation and full knowledge of the African financial/banking environment;
Business Impact Analysis / Risk Assessment;
Crisis Management Programme;
Technology Disaster Recovery & Test Programme Management Experience;
Critical Supplier Risk Management;
Audit & Quality Assurance i.e. knowledge and application of BCM ISO22301 standard;
Training of Business Continuity Management Coordinators;
Communication skills;
Problem solving Presentation skill;
Analytical and Negotiation skills;
Planning and organizing skills
Contractual information:
  6-month contract
Willing and able to relocate to Cairo
