We are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Customer Service professional to join our team here at British Council Ethiopia to fill the role of Customer Service Manager/Registrar.

The role:

Customer Service Manager /Registrar – Ethiopia

We are looking for someone with experience serving customers, sales, financial management and coaching and developing people, to ensure the Ethiopia Customer Service (CS) team meets and exceeds the sales and service targets and KPIs as set by the British Council and that high-quality Teaching Centre (TC) finance and administration services are delivered to customers and clients.

The successful candidate will have a solid command of English and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills that will motivate the SCM team and to foster good team spirit, delivering high quality, efficient and integrated customer service experience.

The role holder will work closely with Head Customer Management SSA, Head Marketing Sales and Customer Management, Business Leads to share best practice and standards.

The person will manage a sales and customer service team to meet stretching business targets

He/she will support the development and delivery of marketing plans working alongside marketing colleagues and business leads

Drive the Sales and Customer Service teams to work hand-in-hand to deliver excellent customer experience to all new and existing customers

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

You must have at least three years working in a reputable in sales and customer management environment of education or services related field.
You should also have education up to tertiary level at any disciplines and speak fluent English.
Experience handling customers and enquiries in a service environment and providing service within quality standards.
Proactive with high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
You should be highly organized and deadline-oriented abilities as well as be proactive with high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
You should have experience in managing/supervising a group of people to achieve a specific purpose
Data analysis is a must as the role is required to run reports with regular analysis of information.

Essential qualifications:

·        Undergraduate Degree (preferably in business related subject)

·        At least three years working in a reputable customer service environment in a similar role

·        Experience of financial management
