British Council: Call for Proposals for People-to-People

The British Council has launched the People-to-People Project in Central Europe (P2P CE), supporting civic dialogue and innovation across the region.

 

It has been funded by the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO), and will be delivered by British Council in areas of Hungary, Slovakia and Czech Republic. British Council is looking for local partners to co-deliver activity during the Pilot.

The program aims to strengthen social cohesion, promoting co-creation in and between different groups. Activities will develop the infrastructure for social enterprise and build the core skills to support this growth. They will also bring communities into a conversation with the UK, building a long-term exchange of ideas and best practices.

Themes

An initial five-month pilot is planned from 1 November 2018 to 31 March 2019, establishing a proof of concept under three key themes:

  • Social Development
  • Community / Applied Arts
  • Schools and Core Skills

British Council is looking for organizations with a demonstrable track record in these fields, who can support delivery for the initial phase.

Funding Information

Amount: between £ 15,000-28,000

Criteria

Open to: local organizations active in the relevant fields.
