The WAZIHUB project, funded by the EU, aims at enabling startups and entrepreneurs to innovate and build low-cost, end-to-end IoT prototypes using the WAZIUP and Fiware technology.

WAZIHUB is a consortium of 9 African partners and 4 European partners all devoted to provide startups and entrepreneurs the right skills to build innovative solutions and solve local problems.

Eligibility Criteria

(Ad) Are you looking for readymade proposals? fundsforNGOs Premium has a vast collection of Sample Proposals from successful grantees around the world. These proposals are available for viewing so that you can quickly get new ideas, best practices, lessons learned and develop your proposal in the perfect manner. Learn more.

Have basic knowledge in IoT technology and hardware programming
Have a teams with a maximum of 3 members (the role of each member should be justified)
Individuals who apply must have technical and business background
Your solutions should address an identified problem and should be within these domains ( Agriculture and Farming / logistics and Transportation / Industry 4.0 / environment and Energy / Smart city and Home)
Your solutions should be innovative and should be implemented using the Waziup technology (for the competition)
Female team lead and members are highly encouraged.
Implementation

The competition is implemented in 6 African countries namely: Ghana, Kenya, Senegal, South Africa, Uganda and Tanzania. Local tech hubs, partners of the project will carry out the competition process in their ecosystem.
