The UK/Australia 2021-22 Season is a significant opportunity to strengthen and build connections. Artists, professionals and community leaders from the UK and Australia will come together to examine current context as two diverse and forward-looking nations.
1000 new grants and donors
Projects across all art forms are welcome to apply. Projects are not limited to touring works; they can include residencies, festivals, symposia, workshops, site-specific work, digital work, exhibitions and broadcast.
The theme provides opportunities to celebrate the best of arts and cultural life, with points of connection and collaboration around successes in creative and technical innovation.
Objectives

The Season is underpinned by three objectives:
Promote mutual understanding
The Season will promote genuine cultural engagement between Australia and the UK. They hope this will lead to deeper people-to-people understanding of where they have come from, who they are now and where they could go together.
Develop international relationships and cooperation
The Season will build long-term networks. As well as providing opportunities for artists in both countries, The Season will support increased knowledge of the working contexts of international touring and collaboration. They will also create platforms for higher education institutions to explore shared interests and issues, and build networks for research and collaboration.
Deadline Free Grants
Create a catalyst for prosperity
Increased opportunity in key markets for UK and Australian arts organizations, and collaboration networks for advanced research and development. It will cultivate deeper business relationships at a time of enormous trade potential.
Funding Information
Australian organizations and individuals can apply for funding of up to AU$60,000 through the ACDGP.
Eligibility Criteria
We cover grants
To be eligible you must:
have an Australian Business Number (ABN)
be registered for the purposes of GST
be an Australian citizen or a permanent resident of Australia
have an account with an Australian financial institution and be one of the following entity types:
a company incorporated in Australia
a company incorporated by guarantee
an incorporated association
a partnership
a joint (consortia) application with a lead organisation
a registered charity or not-for-profit organisation
an individual
an Australian local government body
an Australian state or territory government body
an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Corporation registered under the Corporations (Aboriginal and /or Torres Strait Islander Act 2006
