Applications Open for Mzuri Wildlife Foundation Grant Program!

Deadline: 1 November 2018

The Mzuri Wildlife Foundation is seeking applications for its Grant Program to promote wildlife management and protecting wildlife natural habitat. Sportsmen who are hunter conservationist and have hunted throughout the world created the Foundation.

The Foundation intends to fund direct benefit programs as opposed to conduit funding programs through third parties. The Foundation is opposed to funding programs related to Political Actions Committees, (PAC’s), or political campaigns.

Funding Information

Applicants are interested in “grass roots” projects that can be accomplished with grants of $5,000 to $15,000 (US).

Eligibility Criteria

  • The Foundation is interested in funding projects that have an immediate, measurable, positive impact on wild game conservation, hunter education, and habitat improvement.
  • The Foundation is interested in funding projects that are supported locally and judged to be important by the Trustees, hunters, guides and conservationists who live and work in the affected region.
  • The Foundation is interested in projects that can be completed in one year, although multi-year projects, which meet Foundation Guidelines, will be considered for continuous funding.
  • All projects must have stated goals and objectives that can be measured and evaluated when the project is completed. No existing project will be re-funded until the Foundation has received a progress report of the project’s previous year’s results.
  • The Foundation will not fund the purchase of firearms for law enforcement, or any purpose other than hunter education programs.
