SCCT opened in 2004 as a Joint Venture with APM Terminals the majority shareholder and operator.
We offerBeing part of the Largest Container Terminal in Egypt, in addition of being part of a highly performing team. Leading a customer-centric team delivering Terminal Gate, reefer, container repair and other value-add services. Collaborate with different stakeholders as Customs, General Organization for Export and Import Control and Maritime Transport Sector a.k.a MTS to improve processes that enhance customer experience, which also considered a Key role in the operations leadership team.
Key responsibilities• Accountable for delivering terminal gate, reefer, container repair and value add services to our customers• Responsible for providing outstanding customer experience and effective handling of customers challenges.• Responsible for ensuring safe operations to all related parties• Responsible for managing overall process improvement or standardization requirements

We are looking for• Previous experience in a live customs-terminal environment.• Stakeholder Management with Governmental bodies and Egyptian Authorities (i.e. Customs, General Organization for Export and Import Control, MTS/Maritime Transport Sector, Port Police and Armed Forces). As well as with customers.• Background on Egyptian Custom Law.• Ability to work in cross-functional teams.• Ability to handle conflicting and intersecting situations and KPIs.• Have been in the frontline handling files that are related to Egyptian Customs.• Experienced with what it takes from procedural and official practicalities to implement export and import of a local cargo.• Strong Process and problem solving mind-set.• Strong analytical & presentation skills.• Good awareness of how supply chain works in the local market and of the most ranked local challenges in the chain.• Have been in contact previously with the main export and import stakeholders (i.e. Freight Forwarders, Shipping Lines, Custom House Brokers…).• Ability to get through the power conflicting situation to balance between internal terminal processes and external governmental policies.• Ability to build and enhance a strong business relationships with different governmental offices.• Have a fundamental Commercial background and the broad understanding of how processes on ground impact the larger Commercial picture and how customers should be positioned as the core responsibility.• Conveniently working in a cross-functional international environment.• Able to lead different teams by example and purpose how to be one team.• Fluent in English both written and spoken.• Able to conduct business cases and researches.POSTULER
