Maersk is looking for an Accountant Assistant to join our team in Dakar (Senegal).
Key responsibilities
- Respond to vendor and associate inquiries in a timely manner and assist in resolving payment issues
- Audit, code, and input data invoices and/or other payables
- Assist in preparation of required information for month end close and audit controls
- Process On-Demand vendor payables to provide immediate remittance
- Complete Vendor Statement Analysis
- Insure timely and accurate submisson of received vendor invoices
- Coordinate and submit vendor master data in adherence to company policy
- Perform data entry for all processes with a minimum of errors
- Maintain records, logs, information, reports, and data appropriate to business processes and/or procedures
