Job Description Summary
Senegal is GE Gas Power new big frontier in Francophone SSA, driven by recent Gas Discoveries of close to 50 Trillions of cubic meter making Senegal a country that will unleash its potential in Gas to Power and increase electrification rate to its populations and neighboring countries.
In terms of thermal power, Senegal is today dominated by competition (the likes of Wartsila, MAN … typical reciprocating engines companies) driven by liquid fuel (HFO) availabilities and small MW project (less than 20MW) where those reciprocating engines companies have better performances.
With the Gas discoveries, Senegal is entering in a phase of high capacity demand (>1000MW) where GE has the better winning spot.
Fortunately, recent GE’s engagements have been productive as we have secured exclusivity for 300MW and 120MW projects expected to close in the next 2/3 years and other are other 2 projects of 30MW and 200MW likely to start late 2020/early 2021. GE is to support developing those projects and bring its unparallel expertise on the continent in the support of the country strategy to build local content while building power capacity.
Sales team expect to deploy on those projects GE’s full suite of CSAs, O&M advisory services and Digital offerings.
Sales team foresee a potential of $300M orders/revenues for GE for coming 3-4 years for deals in view.

- International market as GE Senegal offices expands to include Grid and Renewable
- Industrial campaign
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration
- Minimum 2 years working professional experience
