Key Accountabilities:
- Support assigned procurement activity for assigned asset(s) in region.
- Work with the line to support contractor performance management activities and drive expected performance.
- Coordinate category management activity for designated assets through GBS, Supply Chain Solutions and Supply Facing Teams
- Provide input to, coordinate and aggregate demand for designated asset(s) to enable Supply Chain Solutions and Material Management & Distribution teams to deliver category strategies and physical supply chain delivery that meets the business priorities to achieve safe, compliant, reliable, and competitive supply chain management
- Foster effective communication to ensure information is collated, aggregated, and disseminated appropriately from the Line and Procurement leadership, and escalate issues with third parties to relevant Supply Chain Solutions for resolution.
- Execute assigned contract management activities, including cost management and business risk analysis within the designated assets by working with Procurement Services, Line, Indirect Procurement, Supply Chain Solutions and Operating Function facing teams
- Execute all administrative day to day activity, including but not limited Counterparty Due Diligence, and vendor registration
Education and Experience Required:
- University degree
- Preference for a degree in Procurement.
- 2 years of experience in Procurement and/or related professional fields
- Knowledge of the Mauritanian and/or Senegalese Supply Market
- General understanding of regional assets, operations, and planning / execution processes in region
- Must be able to work independently and adapt quickly to systems and processes
- A good understanding of the digital world and the skills involved is a must to be successful in this role
- Knowledge of systems such as Ariba, SAP/Backbone, Salesforce (Compass) and Microsoft Office suite

- English communication: must be able to read, write and speak fluently.
