MISSION
Reporting to the CTO, Chief Technical Officer/Technical Director, you will be responsible for the good performance and efficiency of the entire team of the Logistics and Supply Chain department of OOLU SOLAR, in all our countries of operation ( West and Central Africa).
As such, your main missions are as follows:
- Organize and supervise the logistics operations in their entirety: Purchasing, Procurement, Transport, Customs clearance, Warehousing and Distribution
- Optimize importation process of international goods focusing on time and cost
- Guarantee a good service level to the sales team and storage points, for the sake of performance and optimization of resources.
- Plan and supervise annual and monthly inventory exercises
- Define and optimize the Supply Chain strategy, in close collaboration with the various departments
- Inspire and lead a global logistics team, to include developing, coaching, and mentoring team members, while developing and communicating clear performance goals and expectations for team members
- Monitor logistics KPIs, optimize performance and manage action plans to improve indicators associated with costs, inventory and transport
- Accountable for performance to budget and key operational indicators with focus on continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with the rules and procedures of international transport and importation in each country
- Proactive in improving the flow of physical products and information (including working with other departments to further improve OOLU’s ERP)

- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related field
- 7+ years’ experience as Senior Manager in Supply Chain, Logistics and Operations required, ideally acquired in an international and multicultural context
- Deep Technical knowledge in Supply Chain Management
- Strong leadership and solid experience in Team Management
- Fluent in English and French (Professional Level minimum)
- Ability to adapt and work in a constantly changing environment
- Very sensitive to customer satisfaction, cost and logistics procedures optimization
- Willing to join a start-up environment, driven by our social mission and passionate about social development
- Strong social skills with an ability to build and grow relationships.
