$250,000 Grants available to Strengthen Women in Tech

Deadline: 10-Jan-22

DAI through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), is seeking applications from Institutions and Organizations to build capacity and access to funding for Women Entrepreneurs in South Asia, particularly women running digital and digitally enabled (small and medium sized) business.

USAID’s South Asia Regional Digital Initiative (SARDI), an activity under the Digital Connectivity and Cybersecurity Partnership (DCCP) aims to increase the digital capacity of the private sector and civil society by strengthening their ability to engage on digital and ICT policy issues.

SARDI and DCCP are part of a broader DAI-managed program, Digital Frontiers, which works closely with USAID missions, the private sector, and international and local development organizations to identify successful and sustainable digital approaches and scale their impact globally.

Funding Information
Digital Frontiers anticipates disbursing a total of $500,000 USD in award funding across one or several awards. The number of awards will be determined based on the quality of applications received. Applicants should therefore consider budgets in the range of $100,000 – $250,000.
However, budget amounts up to $500,000 will be considered acceptable should an applicant’s technical approach to the SOW require more funding.
The period of performance for this award will be up to 15 months. Digital Frontiers welcomes proposals from consortia.
