POSTE PROPOSÉ : REGIONAL MANAGER SUB SAHARAN AFRICA (SSA)

We recruit a Regional Manager Sub Saharan Africa (SSA).

Missions :
This role will report to the Commercial Manager, Affordable Nutrition at Glanbia Ingredients Ireland and Work closely with Supply chain, R & D, Customer service, Production and Planning teams, Commercial and Marketing teams.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing relationships with customers/channel partners in the SSA region, with a primary focus on the existing EMP business partnerships in the key markets. The role will be based in Senegal, West Africa with extensive travel required throughout the SSA region.
Key Responsibilities.

• Manage the existing business and achieve the EMP sales budget; Achieve defined sales and profitability targets in SSA ; Gain an in-depth understanding of customers businesses to provide profitable solutions ; Bring the right value proposition and service level to customers.

• Contribute towards the elaboration of a business strategy and growth plan (5 years) for GI in the region ; Identify strategic opportunities and define short – medium-term priorities ; Develop and execute account plans for your key customers.

• Identify and achieve business growth objectives in line with Affordable Nutrition, and Consumer Products growth strategies ; Conduct market research, work with customers and with commercial and marketing teams to identify and exploit new business opportunities ; Manage the project pipeline with customers in coordination with marketing and technical functions.

• Monitor the competitive landscape and provide market insights; Define the size of the opportunity in SSA markets, prioritise target markets, identify routes to market, form and implement action plans. Inform the wider business of market developments, key competitor threats, and NPD.

• Strengthen our customer relationships ; Develop and strengthen key customer relationships ; Regular visits to key decision-makers; Inform the wider business of key customer concerns and requirements.

• Leadership & communication ; Work with EMP Commercial manager to promote the EMP agenda in SSA within GI ; Become the face of GI in SSA.

• Engage with key customers and GI personnel in relation to orders, payments, shipments and stock to ensure an appropriate pipeline of product is available at all times in the markets.
• Trouble-shoot on key customer issues as they arise. Act as an interface between customers and GI to resolve business issues and challenges for both parties as they arise.
PROFIL RECHERCHÉ POUR LE POSTE : REGIONAL MANAGER SUB SAHARAN AFRICA (SSA):

Key Requirements:

• Educated to degree standard in business or dairy science.

• 5 years’ experience in the dairy industry.

• Exposure to Dairy Exports to global markets, particularly 3rd countries.

• Willing to be located in West Africa.

• Willingness to travel extensively throughout SSA.

• Responsible for Budget Volumes and Pricing and meeting targets.

• Develop new business in existing and new markets for GI.

• Fluent French.

Compétences et expérience souhaitées:
