Operations Planning Analyst
Develop long term production plans in line with operational requirements, sales realizations, and forecasts; Analyze production capability and performance in order to meet market demand; Report key performance indicators; Coordinate headcount related activities; Control productivity initiatives against plans and Facilitate improvements to support the Operations Management Team in enhancing reporting, productivity pipeline and long-term planning. Position holder is accountable for effective and timely identification of key business issues and opportunities for continuous process improvements.
Lead Manufacturing Assumption Budget Cycle (annual production plan, machine and brand allocation strategies, headcount requirements, capex plans, compilation of factory wide productivity inputs, etc.). Facilitate discussion for setting upcoming years’ key performance indicators, ensure timely and accurate input of budgeted numbers in systems (GSVC, GMRB, PLM, etc.). Coordinate and facilitate the Operations objectives setting for the following year and Long Range Plan horizon.
Ensure operational capacity meets sales requirement by realizing optimum machine scheduling of production, maintenance, training and stock coverage. Lead feasibility analysis, identification of machine investment and preparation of business case. Keep all capacity and volume information of factory up to date.
Consolidate all productivity initiatives, validate the savings and make sure all initiatives are up to date in the system (e.g. PLM). Ensure productivity targets are set and understood by the organization, and drive implementation and tracking of the initiatives.
Together with Operations Finance, lead the budgeting of Operations HC, monitor and ensure timely and accurate reporting of HC to local and regional stakeholders.
Support Operations Management on the planning and implementation of organizational projects/initiatives, which require a systemic and cross-functional perspective, and with strategic and/or budget implications. Carry out all of the activities above ensuring that PMI Compliance Policies, standards, and laws relating to these activities are fully respected, integrated and understood by stakeholders.
Ensure information (forecast, volume/market dynamics, capacities, productivity initiatives implementation, local political environment, tobacco sector and rivalry, etc.), flow between the factory, the market and Cluster/Region/PMI OC are maintained in two directions and knowledge/best practices are timely shared and consulted.
Lead preparation of presentations and supportive documents for all communications with internal and external stakeholders, and deliver document contents to visitors (PM affiliate/cluster/region, TPM, Suppliers & Distributors, and Government Officials, etc.).
In cooperation with HR and CA, increase PMMSN’s visibility and influence on stakeholders by interacting with the external communities and sharing PMMSN’s successes and challenges.
Ensure full compliance with the local legislation and company policies and procedures. Adhere to all Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) rules, policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Skills
Level 1
Bachelor degree
At least 3 years of relevant experience in Operations Planning, Production, Supply Chain, Business Planning and Development
Customer Focus – Action Oriented – Analytical Skills – Collaboration & Communication
PC Skills
Written and spoken Fluent in French and English
Level 2
Master/University degree
More than 5 years of relevant experience in Operations Planning, Production, Supply Chain, Business Planning and Development, including strategic planning and footprint optimization;
At least 2 years’s experience in managing others
Customer Focus – Analytical Skills – Collaboration & Communication – Decision making – Standing Alone
PC Skills
Written and spoken Fluent in French and English
